04Weather
- Thunder is standardized
- Rain is standardized
05Composter
- Composter success rolls are standardized
- The normal item composting chances still apply
06World Generation
- Feature generation order near spawn is standardized
- Surface lava lake placement near spawn tries 30 candidate positions
- Surface lava lake rarity is boosted 2x
- Geodes are guaranteed a full-grown amethyst cluster
Details
The spawn-area lava system tries 3 groups of 10 candidate positions, 100–250 blocks from spawn. Each attempt skips if the chunk already has surface lava nearby, if the candidate is too close to another placed lava lake, or if the position is inside a village. It still uses vanilla surface-lava placement, so an attempt can fail.
07Mob Behavior
- Pillager captains are standardized
- Monsters do not naturally spawn inside Desert Temples
08Player Spawn
- Player spawn selection is standardized
- Unsafe spawn positions are avoided when possible
Details
Unsafe positions include powder snow, fluid at feet or head, and positions below Y 40. If the first spawn is unsafe, Draftout searches nearby positions for a safer spawn.
09Portal Behaviors
- First Nether-to-Overworld portal creation is forced toward the surface if the player exits from Nether Y 55 or higher
- Ocean, deep ocean, and river surface-forced portals get an obsidian platform
Details
The portal change affects first new Nether-to-Overworld exit creation. It does not replace existing-portal search and does not standardize Overworld-to-Nether linking.
